At the Kasselmann farm in Hagen, near the Teutoburg Forest, the Horses&Dreams three-star show took place once again, with Holsteiners securing several top placings – as well as in France and Poland, amongst other places.
At Horses&Dreams in Hagen, a stop on the BEMER Riders Tour, Chakra by Casall-Quidam de Revel (Johann Peter Laß, Leck), line 5382, and Eoin McMahon (IRL) took second place. The pair had prepared for the spring season in Spain and Qatar and most recently took third place in a 1.60-metre show jumping class in Doha (QAT). Zuccero by Zirocco Blue-Caretino (Hanno Köhncke, Badendorf), line 4539, and Rolf-Göran Bengtsson (SWE) finished sixth. Con Quidam RB by Quinar-Cardino (ZG Bröcking, Borken), line 1446, and Sanne Thijssen (NED) finished tenth.
Nerrado by Nekton-Acorado I (Uwe Krohn, Kaiser-Wilhelm-Koog), line 104A, and Hannes Ahlmann (GER) secured sixth place in the 1.50-metre show jumping in Hagen, whilst the former Holstein State Champion Corsica by Connor-Corofino II (Ehrich Westphal, Stipsdorf), line 4564, and Rene Dittmer (GER) followed in seventh place. Eighth place went to Quando Vengo by Quadros-Come on (Harm Thormählen, Kollmar), line 3615, and Patrick Stühlmeyer (GER).
French U25 rider Camille Conde Ferreira (FRA) enjoyed a golden weekend in Fontainebleau (FRA) with Corrado du Moulin by Berlin-Landadel (Andre Marie Massin, BEL), line 7903: She won two advanced-level classes at the young riders’ competition and took silver in another.
In Poland (Zielona Góra), Cellato by Cellestial-Calato (Jörn Kusel, Visselvörde), line 318D2, and Michael Kölz (GER) won a 1.45-metre show jumping class. Elastiqua by Cachas-Quantum (Wojciech Kasperski, POL), line 730B, ridden by Arkadiusz Fimmel (POL), and Quirados As by Quirado-Lavall I (Behrend Jacobs, Ostenfeld), line 8784, and Matas Petraitis (LTU), two further Holstein horses took third and sixth place.
