Denver, a son of Diarado (sire: Quantum; owner: Pamela Peters, Bargenstedt), line 2067, took bronze in a 1.55-metre show jumping competition in Rouen, France. Michael Greeve (NED) was in the saddle. The black-bay horse had won classes this year in Maastricht (NED) and Riesenbeck (GER), amongst others.
In Opglabbeek (BEL), Yuri Mansur (BRA) rode his Clarimo daughter Claire de Lune to victory in a difficult show jumping class. The mare is by a Caretino dam and was bred by Manfred Nissen from Brecklum; she belongs to line 2087.
Last weekend, the Global Champions League Super Cup Final took place in Riyadh (KSA). High Level by Livello-King Milford xx (Jens Hauschildt, Seester), line 95, competed at the event with her rider Janne Friederike Meyer-Zimmermann (GER) and finished third in a 1.50-metre show jumping class. Quirex (Quirado Concept), sired by ZG Nina and Sonja Ellerbrock (Kayhude), line 2067, was ridden by Michael Duffy (IRL) over 1.65 metres and secured bronze and €200,000 in prize money.
David Will (GER) also competed in Riyadh, riding Zaccorado Blue by Zirocco Blue–Acoorado I (line 1298), bred by Tanja Schramm from Ilmenau. He finished third in a 1.50-metre show jumping class.
