Riding Ulania (by Acord II), line 13A, a daughter of Uriko, Donald Whitaker (GBR) took silver in a 1.50-metre show jumping class in Oliva (ESP). Also placing in this class were the Darco Contender son Darc de Lux (Morten Augustin, Bogense), line 1094, and Andreas Schou (DEN) – who finished fourth.
She was originally discovered at a Holstein spring auction and then entered the sport in Schleswig-Holstein under Philipp Schulze, even competing at the World Championships for Young Show Jumpers: Now Donata Regina by Diamant de Semilly-Cornet Obolensky, bred by Günther Fielmann, Schierensee, line 3317, is competing on the international circuit with Armin Schäfer and recently took first and second place in the Youngster Tour in Opglabbeek (BEL).
Armin Schäfer is also the rider of Chaprock by Cascadello I–Stakkato (Reimer Detlerf Hennings, Bendorf), line 104A. The pair won a 1.40-metre course in Opglabbeek (BEL). In fourth place came VDL Groep Niagara by Casall-Balou du Rouet (Stoeterij Duyselshof) and Leopold von Asten.
Birgit Becker is the proud breeder of No Limits by Nerrado-Cassaro, line 4255. Ridden by the Swiss rider Roger Umnus, the gelding won a difficult show jumping competition in Gorla Minore (ITA).
