At the World Cup competition in La Coruña, Spain, Callias by Companiero-Casco (Sven and Lothar Völz, Wöhrden), stem 730B, with Jesus Garmendia Echevarria (ESP) continued their winning streak: after emerging as the winners of a 1.50-metre show jumping competition in Madrid last week, they now placed third in the 1.60-metre Grand Prix at this World Cup competition. Another Holsteiner followed in fourth place, namely Elysium by Zirocco Blue: Clariquada T by Clarimo-Coronado I (Manfred Tummes, Mühlheim), stem 4539, who was presented by Hans-Dieter Dreher.
In Ornago (ITA), Cascador Air jumped to victory in a competition over 1.45 metres. The licensed stallion changed owners via a Holsteiner auction and is now ridden by Basile Bettendorf (LUX). He is by Cascadello I-Con Air, stem 1571, and was bred by Reimer Detlef Hennings (Bendorf).
Comthago VDL by Comme il faut-Carthago (Wilhelm Kochs, Eschweiler), stem 3697, and Hessel Hoekstra (NED) were meanwhile successful in Poznan (POL): The stallion jumped to the silver position in the 1.55-metre course.
Kevin Jochems (NED) is in the saddle of Camilla van de Helle by L.B. Crumble-Casall (Klaus Thiedemann, Oesterwurth), stem 2453. With their third-place finish over 1.50 metres in Salzburg, Austria, the pair continued a series of successes this year.
