Holsteiner Results: Holsteiners unbeatable in Switzerland, the USA, Saudi ...

The Cachas-Lasino son Cous Cous (Norbert Schmalbach, Mollhagen), lineage 18B1, and Hans-Dieter Dreher (GER) have won the Grand Prix in Chevenez. Nine pairs had made it into the jump-off of the 1.45-metre class, which the grey and Dreher finished clear as the fastest.

Harrie Smolders (NED) has secured overall victory in the Global Champions Tour. The lion's share of this is down to his two Holsteiners, Monaco by Cassini II-Contender (Ralf Lütje, Haseldorf), lineage 429, and Uricas v/d Kattevennen by Uriko-Cassini I (Otto Boje Schoof, Hedwigenkoog), lineage 1916. "It is already difficult to win a single five-star Grand Prix," said Smolders after the final tour weekend in Riyadh (KSA). "But to deliver the consistency for this victory, to jump clear rounds time and time again – the level here is unbelievably high. The horses are jumping outstandingly."

David Will also piloted Zaccorado Blue by Zirocco Blue-Acorado I (Tanja Schramm, Ilmenau), lineage 1298, to victory in a 1.50-metre class. Casallino by Casall-Loran (Harm Thormählen, Kollmar), lineage 2151, and Abdullah Alsharbatly (KSA) were victorious at 1.45-metre level.

In Washington, the former Holsteiner state champion Corsica by Connor-Corofino II (Ehrich Westphal, Stipsdorf), lineage 4564, once again demonstrated her class: the mare is currently jumping from success to success with Rene Dittmer, winning in Pinneberg (GER) amongst others in 2023, and has now placed second in the 1.60-metre World Cup class.

In Linz (AUT), Kannandillo by Kannan-Candillo (Nicole Hanneken, Rhede), lineage 256, and Angelos Touloupis (GRE) finished second in a 1.45-metre course. The stallion most recently won a class at the FEI WBFSH World Breeding Jumping Championships for Young Horses and also secured first place over 1.40 metres prior to this at the competition.

The Holsteiner association stallion Crack HV by Cornet Obolensky-Candillo (Campos Cria de Caballos de Deporte/ESP), lineage 1020, and Richard Vogel continue to be in the fast lane and, following their victory in Coapexpan (MEX), have now also won a heavy show jumping class in San Miguel (MEX). Fifth place in this class went to Catover by Catoki-Contact Me (Kai Gerken, Lasbek), lineage 4705, with Alberto Sanchez Cozar (MEX).

William Weber from Hörnerkirchen is the breeder of Quincy Juice by Quidam de Revel-Cristo, lineage 1907, who celebrated victory in a 1.45-metre Grand Prix in San Giovanni (ITA) with Federico Ciriesi (ITA).
