With Cochello by Casall-Cartani (Detlef Hennings, Bendorf), dam line 1298, Piergiorgio Bucci (ITA) has already celebrated several successes. For example, the pair finished victorious in the Grand Prix classes of Vilamoura (POR) and Rome (ITA). Now they also led the lap of honour in the 1.50-metre show jumping competition in Gorla Minore (ITA).
Sanne Thijssen (NED) is currently making use of the competition series in Vejer de la Frontera (ESP) with her horses. Riding Con Quidam RB by Quinar-Cardino (ZG Bröcking, Borken), dam line 1446, she won a speed and jump-off class at CSI4*. This was already the third victory at this level since February for the two of them.
Beneath the Florida sun, more precisely in Wellington (USA), Simon McCarthy (IRL) celebrated a victory over 1.45 metres with Gotcha by Stakkato-Cassini I (Floris van Leuken/NED), dam line 776. Furthermore, the former Holsteiner auction horse Herr Lucio by Legolas-Cero I (Ahsbahs GbR, Bokel), dam line 275, won a 1.45-metre show jumping class here with Rodrigo Pessoa (BRA).
In Arezzo (ITA), Lord Mexx by Larimar-Coriano (Hans Bock, Quickborn), dam line 1811, and Angelos Touloupis (GRC) secured fifth place in a 1.45-metre course. Scuderia 1918 Calle Deluxe by Cesano II-Con Air (Karl-Ernst Kruse-Sönke, Kollmar), dam line 18B1, and Giulia Martinengo Marquet (ITA) finished sixth.
Eventing
The outdoor season in the German eventing scene kicked off in Luhmühlen last weekend. And with Timmo by Timolino xx-Carlos D (Ole Lehmann, Grästen), dam line 6042, and Nicolai Aldinger (GER), a highly decorated pair emerged victorious in the three-star short class. For instance, they previously won the four-star classes in Le Pin au Haras (FRA) and Strzegom (POL). With Carlitos Quidditch K by Quiwi Dream-Cassini I (Miriam Kühl, Steinfeld), dam line 6082, and Malin Hansen-Hotopp (GER), another Holsteiner took a place on the podium in third position.
