Holsteiner Results: Monaco’s winning streak continues

Harrie Smolders (NED) and Monaco by Cassini II-Contender (Ralf Lütje, Haseldorf), stem 429, are currently on a winning streak. After finishing second at the Global Champions League Super Cup in Prague (CZE), they also jumped to the runner-up position at the CSI5* in Geneva (SUI) a week ago – and repeated this feat this weekend in London (GBR). As a result, the pair has jumped their way to several hundred thousand euros in prize money at the highest level over the past few weeks alone.

A Casall daughter has won a 1.45-metre show jumping competition in Poznan (POL): Hannes Ahlmann and the grey mare Caracas by Casall-Cassini I (Jürgen Böge, Bunsoh), stem 844, claimed victory in a 1.45-metre two-phase jumping class at the three-star World Cup show. Hannes Ahlmann has been in the mare's saddle since 2019, initially presenting her successfully in the youngster tour and now up to 1.50-metre level.

Also in Poznan, the Casall-Quick Nick I daughter Hope Street (Barbara Tenge-Rietberg), stem 4847, won a 1.45-metre show jumping class with her 24-year-old rider Lucas Porter (USA). Another Holsteiner also took second place in the class: Lord Mexx by Larimar-Coriano (Hans Bock, Quickborn), stem 1811, with Angelos Touloupis (GRE) in the saddle.

In a 1.50-metre competition, Chepettano by Chepetto-Calido I (Christiane Tropschug, Bokel), stem 1020, and Maksymilian Wechta (POL) were unbeatable. They galloped away from the competition in the jump-off in front of a home crowd.

Dressage
In the final of the Nürnberger Burg-Pokal for seven- to nine-year-old up-and-coming dressage horses, Caracciola MT by Chin Champ-Calido I (Miriam Kathleen Haak, Bröthen), stem 1463, represented Holsteiner colours in the arena. Ridden by Daniel Bachmann Andersen (DEN), the grey secured an excellent seventh place in both the warm-up test and the final with over 72 percent.
