Over the Whitsun weekend, a number of highly decorated Holsteiners from all over the world once again demonstrated that they can compete at the very top in the most challenging classes.
Dacapo (ZG Bock, Schülp), a son of Diarado and Canturo, line 8805, is a horse you can rely on: In Millstreet, the 2021 Aachen runner-up delivered once again, winning the four-star event at Busch with Laura Collett.
In the 1.60-metre show jumping competition at St Gallen, Switzerland’s Martin Fuchs and his Connor son Conner JEI (MV. Cosimo) came out on top. The dark bay, bred by Gerhard Stamer (Duvensee), line 8778, and his rider left the arena as winners.
C-Vier by Cardento-Concorde (W. Wolters, Groningen), line 8818, also emerged victorious in the 1.50-metre two-phase show jumping competition in Wiesbaden. Cian O’Connor (IRL) has only been riding the gelding – once ridden by David Will – for a few weeks.
Lord Mexx, a son of Larimar-Coriano, and Angelos Touloupis (GRE) won the 1.50-metre Grand Prix at the CSI3* in Greece. Lord Mexx was bred by Hans Bock (Quickborn) and belongs to line 1811. Quiller by Quidam de Revel-Lordanos (Etan 96 KFT) and Matteo Checchi (ITA) also took second place.
