Holstein horses, their riders and breeders celebrated victories and placings last weekend, particularly at the Global Champions Tour event in Saudi Arabia’s capital, Riyadh.
Following her victory in a competition at the Global Champions Tour leg in Rabat, Iron Dames High Level by Livello-King Milford xx (Jens Hauschildt, Seester), Line 95, secured another top placing in Riyadh: Ridden by Janne Friederike Meyer-Zimmermann, the mare finished fifth in the 1.50-metre show jumping class. And in the 1.60-metre show jumping, the Casall-Chicago Z son Cordial and Denis Lynch also shone. The representative of Line 325 was bred by Hans-Hermann Gempf from Stelle and took the silver medal. Maikel van der Vleuten and Dywis HH took home a victory over 1.45 metres last weekend. Dywis HH by Toulon-Corofino II (line 741) was bred by Peter Huismann from the Netherlands.
Kevin Jochems takes the reins of Casquetto van de Helle, and with great success: in Kronenberg (NED), the pair finished fourth in the 1.45-metre Grand Prix. Casquetto van de Helle is by Casquetto out of Larimar (line 18A2) and was bred by Silke Zuba (Wesselburen).
Haquinsa is a horse of which breeder Tobias Kälberer can rightly be proud: the daughter of Sandro Boy-Quintero represents mare line 104A and is being ridden by Jérôme Guéry on the international circuit. In Oliva, the pair took second place over 1.45 metres.
