Holsteiner Results: Successes in the USA, Belgium and France

In Upper Marlboro (USA), the “Holsteiner USA experts” were once again successful: Theo by Christian-Calando IV (Jenny Abrahamsson, Haselünne), line 8865, came fourth over 1.50 metres. He is Conor Swail’s (IRL) long-standing successful mount and is increasingly competing at high-stakes shows in North America. Rene Dittmer also competes in many shows in the USA, as he spends several months of the year there with his partner. Riding Cody, the bronze medallist at the German Championships in Balve, he finished fifth. The son of Casall out of a Quidam de Revel dam was born at Sören von Rönne’s stud in Neuendeich and belongs to line 8900.

In Liège (BEL), Cous Cous by Cachas-Lasino (Norbert Schmalbach, Mollhagen), line 18B1, took third place with Hans-Dieter Dreher in a 1.50-metre course.

Arndt Ehlers from Stocksee is the breeder of Quintendros E by Quintender-Cassini I, line 8915. In Opglabbeek, Belgium, he won a 1.45-metre show jumping class with Micky Morssinkhof. Here, the Casall-Carthago son Castle Creek (Silke Zuba, Wesselburen), line 18A2, also secured fifth place under Thomas Brandt.

Eventing
He is a son of Connor out of an Exorbitant xx dam and was bred by Anke Siewertsen on the island of Föhr: Senor Crocodillo finished tenth in the five-star eventing competition at Pau (FRA). The eleven-year-old is ridden by Jonelle Price from New Zealand – it was his first start at this level.
