Last weekend, the Global Champions Tour leg in Shanghai (CHN) was on the competition calendar. In the Grand Prix, Marcus Ehning and Coolio by Casalito-Quidam de Revel (Martina Wirtz, Wulkenzin), stock number 2067, secured second place and added €124,000 to their prize money tally. Another Holsteiner made it into the top 10: Hans-Dieter Dreher and Elysium by Zirocco Blue-Coronado (Manfred Tummes, Mühlheim a.d. Ruhr). The grey finished seventh in the jump-off with a very fast time and one knockdown.
At the same time, the traditional Maimarkt Competition is taking place in Mannheim, which will reach its climax tomorrow, Tuesday, with the Badenia. But numerous Holsteiners had already made their mark at the weekend as well. In the Mannheim Championship, Dante by Darco de Revel-Casco (Sven Vöz, Bienenbüttel), line 730B, ridden by Armin Schäfer Jr., took second place, whilst Hannes Ahlmann and Cimarosa by Comme il faut-Cormint (Jürgen Böge, Bunsoh), line 7492, came fifth.
Eventing
Meanwhile, the eventing scene gathered in Pratoni del Vivaro, Italy. In the CCI4*-S event, overall victory went to a horse from the land between the seas. We are talking about Dollar Boy by Dollar del Pierre–Ephebe for ever (Dr Andreas Kosicki, Berlin), line 104 A, ridden by Alessio Proia (ITA).
