Holsteiner Results: Conner JEI triumphs in Bordeaux

True to the motto ‘the last shall be first’, Martin Fuchs and his Connor-Cosimo son Conner JEI (Gerhard Stamer, Duvensee), line 8778, have recorded yet another top success in Bordeaux, France. As the last pair to start, they entered the jump-off of the 1.60-metre Grand Prix and emerged as winners. The pair had already triumphed here last year, as well as in Vienna and Geneva.

World Champion Simone Blum is riding a daughter of Clarimo, with whom she has now won a difficult show jumping competition in San Giovanni (ITA). Caja (by Coriano) was bred by Reinhold Distel of Wächtersbach. She is none other than the full sister of the eponymous Caja, with whom Jens Baackmann competes at 1.60-metre level.

In Lier, the competition in the Youngster Tour over 1.40 metres was outclassed by Othello by Ogano Sitte-Cassini I (Sven Gräfe), line 18A2. The eight-year-old was ridden to victory by Jana Fink.
