She is by Crumble and Casall and was bred by Klaus Thiedemann from Oesterwurth – now the grey mare Camilla van de Helle has won the Nations Cup in Dublin (IRL) with Kevin Jochems. The representative of line 2543 remained faultless in both rounds and thus played a key role in the success of Team Oranje. The German team, which finished second, also included two Holsteiners: Cloudio by Casall-Cassini I (Heike Arendt, Sollwitt), line 5889, ridden by Richard Vogel, and Catelly by Catalido-Ephebe For Ever (Wulf Hinrich Hamann, Ammersbek), line 242, ridden by Marco Kutscher.
The Global Champions Tour stopped off in London (GBR) this weekend. In a 1.50-metre show jumping class, the Belgian rider Abdel Saïd rode his horse Calvaro to second place. Calvaro, a son of Cascadello I and Quidam de Revel, belongs to line 7673 and was bred by Reimer Detlef Hennings (Bendorf).
The bronze medallists at the German Championships, Cody and Rene Dittmer, are currently in the USA and have won the opening round of the Major League in Traverse City. The son of Casall out of a Quidam de Revel dam was born at Sören von Rönne’s stud in Neuendeich and represents line 8900. “I got Cody last year and he has developed incredibly well since then,” said Dittmer of the 10-year-old gelding. “He showed today that he’s ready for this.”
