Holsteiner Results: Bronze and further placings at the World Cup event in Lyon

At the World Cup round in Lyon, France, Holsteiners secured several top placings:

Limbridge (Ralf Pawlowski, Heidenheim), a son of Limbus-Cambridge, line 741, and Jana Wargers took second place in the Longines Grand Prix over 1.60 metres. The pair have celebrated numerous victories and placings at the very highest level this season, including second place at the CSIO in Rome (ITA), victory in the Nations Cup at Aachen and subsequent participation in the World Championships in Herning (DEN).

Long John Silver, a son of Lasino-Corrado I bred by Peter Burmeister (Wangels), has proven to be a real guarantee of success for the Dutch rider Jur Vrieling over the past two years: The grey from line 2896 and his rider were part of the silver-medal-winning team at the World Championships in Herning (DEN) and at the Nations Cup in Falsterbo (SWE) in 2022, amongst other achievements. Now they have also made it onto the podium at the World Cup round in Lyon (FRA), securing third place. Darc de Lux by Darco-Contender (Morten Augustin, Bogense/DEN), line 1094, and Andreas Schou (DEN) also have championship experience; they represented Denmark at events including the European Championships in Riesenbeck, and achieved a creditable fifth place in Lyon. Conner Jei by Connor-Cosimo (Gerhard Stamer, Duvensee), line 8778, and Martin Fuchs finished in ninth place.

At the CSI2* in Vejer de la Frontera (ESP), two riders on Holsteiner horses took first and third place in the 1.50-metre show jumping. Celina BH by Canstakko-Carthago (Lonnie Bechmann-Schultz, Roedding), line 3323, and Mimi Gochman (USA) left the entire field behind them. In addition, Tornado VS by Toulon-Contender (Vanessa Schockemöhle, Steinfeld), line 8769, and Armando Trapote (ESP) took the bronze.
