At the weekend, the pair were competing in Doha (QAT) and took bronze in a 1.50-metre show jumping class. In the same class, My Lady Lavista by Mylord Carthago-Levisto (Klaus-Peter Wiepert, Neuratjensdorf), line 7369, and Janne Friederike Meyer-Zimmermann also finished seventh. The son of Casall Dark Chocolate (dam: Acodetto), bred by the Oldekop family (Schönwalde), line 3389, took ninth place with Anastasia Nielsen (MON).
Thomas Petersen from Sollwittfeld is the breeder of Sala. The gelding by Sandro Boy-Con Air represents line 3401 – his third dam is the former Holsteiner Mare of the Year Online IX, Greece by Mylord Carthago, as well as the licensed mares Keystone by Keaton, Miami by Mylord Carthago and Conrato by Caretino. Sala won a 1.45-metre show jumping class in China, specifically in Guangzhou, and finished seventh over 1.50 metres with Rima Da (CHN).
