The seven-year-old show jumpers competed in a Class M** show jumping class as part of their qualification for the final of the State Championships. Here, the former Holstein Champion Stallion Vigado by Vigo d’Arsouilles-Quo Vados I (Witt Pferdezucht GbR) took the lead. Lucas Wenz rode him through the course in the fastest clear round (66.64 sec.). In second place (68.89 sec.) came Lillet Wild Berry by Uriko-Cassin (Anja Hansen) and Leni Hansen, ahead of Akazienhof’s Chacoon Lady by Chacoon Blue-Balou du Rouet (Friedrich-August Kruse) and Andreas Erni (69.42 sec.). The final for the seven-year-olds will take place on Saturday at 1.00 pm.
To round off the first day of show jumping, an S* class show jumping competition was on the programme. In this competition, Simon Heineke, riding Call me Pretty by Comme il Faut–Cassini I (Stall Moorhof), secured victory. Second and third places went to Chezarro by Casall-Conteur (Gabriele Kowalski) and Lucas Wenz, and to Janine Rijkens and Matti by Contendro II-Tangelo v/d Zuuthove.
