The highly acclaimed dressage series “DERBY Stars of Tomorrow” has made a stop at the Holstein State Championships in Elmshorn. At S*** level in the warm-up class and the final qualifier, U25 riders and young dressage horses aged between eight and twelve compete with the aim of easing their transition into Grand Prix competition. The final will be held in Münster as part of the AGRAVIS Cup.
In Elmshorn, one pair proved unbeatable in both the preliminary test and the qualifier. We are talking about Juliane Brunkhorst (Elbdörfer und Schenefelder RV) and Fürst Enno by Fürst Romancier–Sir Donnerhall. The nine-year-old Oldenburg horse completed both classes with ease, scoring 72.807 per cent and 71.930 per cent respectively. Second place in the final qualifier went to Susan Pape (RV Neuhaus Oste u.U.) and the eleven-year-old Bellissimo M son Bourani. The Westphalian scored 70.351 per cent. Alexandra Bimschas (Elbdörfer and Schenefelder RV) and the eleven-year-old Oldenburg mare Talandra’s Rose by Self Made-Cordial Medoc (70.210 per cent) also broke the 70 per cent mark to take third place.
