Holsteiner Stallion Show on 22 March: Focus on breeding

On 22 March at 12:00 noon, the association's premises in Elmshorn will open their gates for a joint presentation of privately owned stallions and sires standing at the Holsteiner Verband Hengsthaltungs GmbH. Visitors can look forward to a diverse afternoon dedicated to current and proven stallions – with free admission.
Before the sires take centre stage, the event will begin with a "stable lane chat" ("Stallgassenschnack"). In a relaxed atmosphere, breeders, riders and interested parties will have the opportunity to experience the licensed stallions up close, talk to stallion keepers and officials, and gather initial impressions.

In the subsequent programme starting at 2:00 pm, stallions from the stations of Schockemöhle, Dirk Ahlmann, Rödl, Maas J. Hell, Völz, Fromberger and the Hengsthaltungs GmbH in Elmshorn will present themselves over fences. The entertaining and expert commentary by Henner Hoeschen will provide interesting information on pedigrees, athletic successes and breeding perspectives – providing valuable impetus for the upcoming breeding season. The Holsteiner stallion show thus offers not only a comprehensive overview of the current lot of stallions, but also an ideal platform for exchange and inspiration within the breeding community.
