This weekend’s Holsteiner Grand Prix winner

At the CSI2* in Aarhus, Denmark, Quinn (pictured) by Quidam de Revel-Contender (Jürgen Hattebuhr, Burgwedel), line 4220, and Zascha Nygaard Andreasen (DEN) won the 1.45-metre show jumping class, which was advertised as the Grand Prix. The Danish rider is a rider at Andreas Kreuzer’s (GER) stables, under whom Quinn has already enjoyed a number of international successes. For Andreasen and the chestnut, Aarhus was their very first competition together. Contador by Cardenio-Caretino (Christian Dammholz, Liesten), line 671, and Kaspar Hansen (DEN) took third place in this class, Quarz Ask by Quintero-Caretino (Frauke Bahnsen, Leck), line 5064, and Karen Moeller Rohde (DEN) also finished fifth.

Also in Aarhus, Annabelle by Conteur-Linaro (Günther Fielmann, Schierensee), line 776, and Helen Langehanenberg (GER) competed successfully in the dressage arena. The pair, who have been in such fine form this season that they were recently selected for the national squad, took bronze in a Grand Prix and won the Grand Prix Special.

Lesson Peak and Richard Vogel have done it again! The Lord Z-Cash and Carry son (Matthias Ketelsen, Silberstedt), line 4779, and Richard Vogel have once again won a 1.45-metre show jumping class at the Autumn Tour in Oliva, Spain. The pair’s track record – having already shone on several occasions at the U25 Show Jumping Cup – is particularly impressive this year. They have also secured victories in Oliva Nova, Aachen and Peelbergen (NED) in 2020.

In Tryon, Caillou by Casall-Corrado I (Max-Hermann Johannsen, Hörup), line 4510, and the American Karl Cook were the fastest to complete the CSI3* Grand Prix clear of faults. The course, which the pair completed successfully, stood at 1.50 metres, and they walked away with over 45,000 US dollars in prize money. Carthano by Cartani-Heraldik xx (ZG Belz, Haseldorf), line 2495, and Darragh Kenny (IRL) also finished the competition in third place.
