The grey Cochello by Casall-Cartani, line 1298, who is of Italian descent, comes from the renowned breeding stable of Reimer Detlef Hennings in Bendorf. His rider is Piergiorgio Bucci, and together the pair won a 1.50-metre show jumping class in Vilamoura, Portugal, leaving 90 competitors behind them.
At the CSI3* in Wellington, Florida (USA), Coralissa – a daughter of Com Air and Corrado I, bred by Gerd Küst of Pinneberg – secured victory in a 1.40-metre show jumping class with Sam Walker (CAN) in the saddle. In a 1.50-metre competition, Confu by Contact Me-Cambridge (Kai Gerken, Lasbek), line 4705, and Laura Kraut (USA) also took second place. In this class, Bull Run’s Prince of Peace (ex. Cardenio) by Cardenio-Contender (Breido Graf zu Rantzau, Breitenburg), line 1446, and Kristen Vanderveen (USA) finished in seventh place.
They had already secured several top placings in 1.40-metre competitions at the MET Oliva (ESP) in recent weeks and have now claimed victory at this level: Confetti M by Connor-Alcatraz (Harald Meisinger, Schwanau), line 223B, and David Will (GER).
