A horse recently recommended itself impressively for the title "Holsteiner of the Month": Nickel by Numero Uno-Lorentin I (Hindrick Stüvel, Rosengarten). Together with Olympic champion Julia Krajewski, he cantered to her fifth German championship title in Luhmühlen at the end of June. "We love Luhmühlen," said Krajewski after what was a phenomenal week for her in the Lüneburg Heath.

"Nickel needs a few shows at this level to get into top form. That is why we prepared him specifically in the spring – and now everything simply fell into place."

Already in the dressage arena and in the ultimate discipline, the cross-country phase, Krajewski and her Holsteiner from family 4303 had achieved the best results, taken the lead and defended it confidently until the end. "I think Nickel's owner, Professor Dr. Heicke, is very proud of us today," Julia Krajewski subsequently wrote on her Instagram channel.
