With a victory in the Championat of Neustadt/Dosse, a world ranking jumping class, Hannes Ahlmann and Tokyo by Toulon-Cassini I returned from Brandenburg to Holstein in mid-January. For the nine-year-old Holsteiner mare bred and owned by Jürgen Böge (Bunsoh), this is the biggest success of her still young career so far.
It was the show jumper's first visit to CSI Neustadt-Dosse. "She came to me as a four-year-old, has a lot of character and is a true fighter. I am very grateful to Jürgen Böge for making her available to me and I hope for many more successes together," the 23-year-old summarised after his victory. Through young horse jumping classes, the Holsteiner State Championship, the Bundeschampionate and the World Championships for Young Show Jumpers in Lanaken (BEL), Hannes Ahlmann has carefully developed the mare from damline 7492 over the years. In Mannheim and Hörup, the pair already won competitions at 1.45-metre level last year, finished second in the Grand Prix of Warendorf and placed in an S*** jumping class at Hof Waterkant.
Tokyo is not only performing excellently in sport, a look at her pedigree is also very interesting. Thus, alongside two full siblings (Tiepolo and Tiffany), she has a half-brother by Nerrado named Canto Bianco, who is successful in jumping up to 1.50 metres under the Turkish flag.
