During the FN meetings in Aachen, the Breeding Advisory Board elected a partially new executive board, which henceforth also includes Hanno Köhncke, vice-chairman of the Association of Breeders of the Horse of Holsteiner Origin (Verband der Züchter des Holsteiner Pferdes e.V.).

The Breeding Advisory Board had elected Carsten Grill as the new chairman of the breeding division of the German Equestrian Federation (FN). The previous deputy chairman for the riding horse department succeeds Theodor Leuchten, who did not stand for re-election after a 16-year term of office.

Carsten Grill has been a member of the breeding executive board for four years and was just recently confirmed in office as chairman of the Working Group of German Sport Horses (AG DSP). The 50-year-old is a passionate horse breeder, tax advisor and auditor from Eislingen in Baden-Württemberg.

Grill's previous position on the breeding executive board will in future be taken over by certified agricultural engineer Hanno Köhncke from Badendorf. The 59-year-old is a successful horse breeder and has been vice-chairman of the Holsteiner Verband since December of last year. Congratulations and all the best for a successful collaboration!

25 horse and pony breeding associations are affiliated with the breeding division of the German Equestrian Federation. Further members of the breeding executive board: Raimon Joesten (pony and small horse breeders), Dr Norbert Camp (Trakehner Verband), Ahmed Al Sammaraie (breeding association for sport horses of Arabian descent (ZSAA)), Gerd Sosath (deputy chairman of the Oldenburg International Sport Horse Breeding Association as well as the Association of German Stallion Keepers), Dr Hinni Lührs-Behnke (chairman of the Hanoverian Association), Ralf Johanshon (chairman of the Westphalian Horse Studbook), Antje Römer-Stauber (chairwoman of the Hessian Pony Breeding Association).
