Calvino (Hans-Hinrich Hansen, Ottenbüttel), a son of Castelan II-Literat, line 2137, and Christian Ahlmann (GER) won the Warstein Grand Prix in an S***-level show jumping competition featuring a jump-off. The bay had previously enjoyed success at the 1.45-metre level with Angelique Rüsen (GER). Singu by Singulord Joter-Parco xx (Dr Hansjörg Andresen, Simonsberg), line 13A, and Hans-Torben Rüder finished fourth in the Grand Prix. Cayenne WZ by Claudio-Ramirado (Adelbert Sporn, Jardelundfeld), line 318D1, and Felix Haßmann came sixth.
At the Sopot Horse Show in Poland, a Holsteiner took top honours in the 1.45-metre show jumping competition: Zirocco Air by Zirocco Blue-Con Air (Jan van Hamond, Haren-Fehndorf), line 18B1, and Mateusz Tyszko (POL) won this competition. Chepettano by Chepetto–Calido I (Christiane Tropschug, Bokel), line 1020, and Maksymilian Wechta (POL) came fourth, whilst the Polish-bred Counter by Cachas-Langenhagen (Siergiej Malgorzata), line 7728, and Adam Nicpon (POL) came sixth.
In Gorla Minore (ITA), two Holsteiners were among the top five in the 1.45-metre show jumping: Larisal by Larimar-Casall (Ernst Eggers, Struvenhütten), line 223B, ridden by Urh Baumann (SLO), came second. Charlie by Casall-Corofino I (Timm Peters, Bargenstedt), line 6786, ridden by Mans Thijssen (NED), took fourth place.
