At the North Frisia Breeding District Foal Championship in Behrendorf, seven participants were selected for the State Foal Championship on 15 August in Elmshorn:
In the filly class, a daughter of Dourkhan Hero Z out of a Connor dam (Hauke Paulsen, Immenstedt), line 1223, was crowned the winner.
Also qualifying were the runner-up filly by Chicago Blue VDL-Com Air (breeder: Hauke Paulsen, Immenstedt; owner: Horst Behrend, Immenstedt), line 3558, and the third-placed foal by Cahil-Catoo (Stefanie Winkelmann, Norstedt), line 8762, have also qualified.
A son of Zuccero-Luxius, bred by Ivonne Carstensen (Sollwitt), was crowned the winner in the colts’ class.
Three further colts secured their places at the State Championships: the second-placed colt by Pegase van’t Ruytershof-Quo Vados I (Morena Petersen), line 730B; the dressage-oriented foal sired by Morricone I out of Caplan (Olaf Petersen, Bordelum), line 4847, which came third; and, in fourth place, a son of Charaktervoll out of a Livello dam (Frank Nommensen), line 776.
