European Championships: C Vier and David Will win their opening matches
C Vier by Cardento-Concorde (W. Wolters, Groningen), line 8818, and David Will have got off to a flying start at the European Championships in Riesenbeck. The pair had already impressively demonstrated that this combination works exceptionally well together with their victory in the Five-Star Grand Prix of Rome and their nomination for the Tokyo long list – today, they were unbeatable with a fast and clear round in the opening jumping competition. As a result, Will currently leads the individual standings, whilst the German team is in second place behind Sweden.
