European Championships in Hagen: Two Holsteiners in the line-up
The European Dressage Championships got underway this morning in Hagen am Teutoburger Wald. Among the competitors are two horses bred in Holstein, which passed the vet check on Monday. One of these is the Olympic reserve Annabelle by Conteur-Linaro, bred by Günther Fielmann (Schierensee), who is part of the German team alongside Helen Langehanenberg. The pair are due to compete today at 2.41 pm.
The second Holsteiner will compete tomorrow, riding under the Austrian flag. Te Quiero (by Totilas out of Loutano, bred by Hans Reisinger, Wolznach) will be ridden by Christian Schumach and is due to start on Wednesday at 10.33 am.
The Holsteiner Verband is keeping its fingers crossed and wishes both pairs every success!
