In Luhmühlen, senior riders, young riders and juniors competed for the German eventing championship title.
In the juniors’ category, Da bin ich C by Diarado-Esteban xx (Ursula Chojnacki, Stolpe), ridden by Kaja Thomsen, took the bronze medal. Nane Nikolaus Dehn came sixth on Zilia D by Corland-Mytens xx (Friedrich Dehn, Schwesing), Hanna Jensen came eighth on EH Clara by Clarimo (Gunhild Clausen, Langwedel), and Horsware Barny by Barnaul xx-Cornetto (Volker Jacobs, Ostenfeld), also ridden by Kaja Thomsen, came ninth.
In the Young Riders’ category, there were two medals for the Holsteiner breed:
Akeby’s zum Glück by Hunter-Locato (photo: Susanne Hein, Boren) won silver under Joelle Celina Selenkowitsch, whilst Darcy F by Larimar-Esteban xx (Ferdinand Baumann, Kempen) took bronze under Libussa Lübbeke.
In the CCI4* S, Let’s Dance by Lancer II-Contender (Hanno Köhncke, Badendorf) finished fourth under Sandra Auffarth.
