As part of this series, information regarding the executive board work of the Holsteiner Verband is published at regular intervals. We would like to inform you, dear members, about the results and resolutions of the executive board.

Preparation for the Delegates' Meeting
On 13 June, the following individuals will stand for election to the executive board: Ulrich Steuber (running for chairman), Claus Delfs, Jürgen Schaffner, and Dieter Feddersen. Hinrich Romeike is not available for re-election. The profiles and videos of the candidates are scheduled to be published at the end of May.

Modernisation of the Articles of Association
The articles of association must be revised to make them more comprehensible, modern, and simpler. It is necessary to create the possibility of holding meetings and elections in a hybrid format that is legally secure. The revision has already begun.
The standard articles of association of the German associations provide for concrete penalties in doping cases occurring on the occasion of licensing events. It is desired nationwide that all associations proceed uniformly and that fines of up to €50,000 be made possible. Executive board resolution: A proposal for the delegates' meeting in autumn is to be drawn up in 2022.

Renovation Measures for the Cross-Country Course
The executive board resolves to carry out renovation measures. Donations have already been generated and sponsorships agreed upon. A utilization concept comprising training courses, competitions, and viewings for talented young Holsteiner horses, as well as marketing activities, has been compiled. The concept provides that at least the running costs will be generated through this utilization.

Additional Financial Support for the Breeding Districts
Foal registrations in the breeding districts are important and are to be actively supported. The executive board resolves that the Verband will provide an additional €300 per breeding district for this purpose.

Topics of the Marketing GmbH
The foal auction at the Holsteiner Horse Days will take place on the Friday following the final of the four-year-old show jumpers. This will be followed by the S*-show jumping class. The Holsteiner free-jumping championship for three-year-old mares will take place on Saturday from 5 p.m.

Topics of the Stallion Keeping GmbH

• In stallion keeping, there is a selection of frozen semen available in the frozen semen depot that is too valuable to be dispensed in straws. For some stallions, this method would also not lead to successful gestation. Sebastian Rohde proposes various ways in which this semen can be utilized optimally through modern breeding methods. The stallion keeping division is currently drawing up a roadmap in close cooperation with the marketing and breeding management departments, in the best interest of the Holsteiner breeding community.
• The aim is to purchase and rear more foals, with a focus on both show jumping and dressage.
• Norbert Boley is currently taking his remaining leave, and he will officially step down from the Verband on 30 June 2022. The ceremonial farewell will take place on 1 May on the occasion of the stallion presentation.
