On 8 June, delegates from the Holsteiner Verband met at the Hostenhallen in Neumünster for their first meeting of 2023. In the election for the Deputy Chair for a three-year term, the delegates elected Dr Maximilan Slawinski, thereby confirming the 37-year-old in the post he has held since 2021. Jürgen Schaffner was also re-elected to his post as a member of the Executive Committee.

Several members of the Selection Committee were also up for election. Horst-Klaus Heleine, Matthias Wittke and Philipp Baumgart (substitute) were elected to this committee. In addition, Hanno Köhncke, Jan-Pierre Fromberger, Evi Bengtsson (alternate) and Christian Schröder (alternate) were elected to the Appeals Committee.
