The Holstein bush horses secured a victory and a number of placings at the weekend.
In the CCI4* S at Strzegom, Poland, The Phantom of the Opera by Quo Vados–Peking Opera xx (Peter Fick, Marne), registered with the stud book, took second place under Sandra Auffarth. There was a Holsteiner victory in the CCI3* S with Darcy F by Larimar-Esteban xx (archive photo; Ferdinand Baumann, Kempen) and Libussa Lübbeke. Rounding off the success in second place was Cascada by Cascadello I–Heraldik xx (Thies Pining, Krempermoor), ridden by Pia Münker. Chintano by Chin Champ-Exorbitant xx (Thoma Gerken, Tremsbüttel), ridden by Nicholas Goldbeck, finished fourth, whilst Escara GP by Quaterback-Carnaby (Jan-Gottfried Böning, Langwedel), ridden by Esteban Benitez Valle (Spain), came seventh. In the CCI3* L, Dynamite Jack by Diarado–Grundyman xx (Josef Auge, Güstrow), ridden by Sara Algotsson-Ostholt (Sweden), took third place. In Elkden (USA), Meg Pellegrini rode RF Eloquence by Contender-Grundyman xx (Dagmar Hoffmann, Königshorst) to fourth place in the CCI3* L.
