There is news of yet another Holsteiner success from the British Isles.

Cayiano by Cayado-Caretino, bred by Reiterhof Tramm in Damp, took the runner-up spot in the five-year-old cross-country horse championship at Osberton. In the saddle was none other than William Fox-Pitt, who wrote to the breeders saying that he had made a mistake in the dressage test and had consequently thrown away the victory. Last year, before moving to the UK through the mediation of Philipp Bandilla, Cayiano had enjoyed success in dressage and show jumping competitions under Christian and Ragna Thiesen.
