Catinka S, a daughter of Chin Champ and Roderik bred by Robert Schindlbeck, Hechendorf, line 5261, has remained with her breeder’s family and was victorious in a 1.40-metre show jumping class in Ebreichsdorf, Austria, with Sophia Schindlbeck (GER). The pair progressed from the Youngster Tour into the international show jumping circuit and have enjoyed numerous successes up to 1.50 metres in recent years.
Sanne Thijssen (NED) and her family have long had close ties with the Holsteiner breed. In Valencia, Spain, Thijssen rode her successful horse Con Quidam RB by Quinar-Cardino (ZG Bröcking, Borken), line 1446, to victory in a 1.45-metre show jumping class.
Chairman by Casall-Lacapo, bred by Peter Ziebell of Bargfeld-Stegen, and Simon Heineke won the S* show jumping competition in Negernbötel. Heineke is a rider at the Moorhof under Carsten-Otto Nagel and placed the grey horse up to three-star level during the past season.
Christian Hess is spending a few weeks in Oliva, Spain, and rode the mare Untouched by Uriko-Cartani (Doris Schimmer, Heide), line 4025, to eighth place in a 1.45-metre show jumping competition, finishing as the best German rider.
