The first medals were awarded in Warendorf today. The seven-year-old show jumpers were already competing for the title of 2022 Bundeschampion. Of the nine jump-off participants in the S** class show jumping competition, no fewer than five horses carried the Holsteiner brand. A dominance that was already apparent in the qualifications. In the end, there was no getting past Caillan by Casall-Carry (Gerd Ohlsen, Föhr). Ridden by Rolf-Göran Bengtsson, the reigning Holsteiner Landeschampion secured the title. Munin by Mylord Carthago-Chin Chin (Michael Eitel, Freihung), who galloped across the finish line a fraction of a second later under Richard Vogel, had to settle for a narrow second place. Last year, Caillan was also among the finalists in Warendorf, back then ridden by Sophie Hinners. She competed today with Honey Bunny and secured the bronze medal with the Livello-Cento daughter bred by Otto-Boje Schoof (Hedwigenkoog). But that is not all: fifth and sixth places also went to Holstein, namely to Forino by For Pleasure-Caretino (Manfred von Allwörden, Grönwohld) under Diarmuid Howley and Tokyo by Toulon-Cassini I (Peter Böge, Bunsoh) with Hannes Ahlmann.
And a Holsteiner was also among the contenders in the four-year-old riding horses. The reigning Landeschampion Robby Brown by Rock Forever I-Aljano (ZG Ellerbrock, Kayhude) won the bronze medal (8.6) under Christina Ellendt. There was a flat nine for the walk and training, an 8.5 for the trot and canter, and 8.0 for conformation. Heartfelt congratulations!

Dax by Dinken-Corrado I (Dirk Georg Jessen, Jardelund) and Richard Vogel with 8.5 - 4th place 3rd division
Cyber-Boom by Conway II-Carinjo (Heiko Marckmann, Haseldorf) with Jana Fink - 11th place 2nd division
