In this unusual year, many things will be different from usual. The good news is that the ban on accommodation in Schleswig-Holstein has been lifted.

The opening of the licensing show traditionally takes place on the outdoor grounds of the Holstenhalle in Neumünster. This is where the licensing candidates present themselves to the public for the first time. This is good news for anyone interested who does not have tickets for the free jumping on Friday or the auctions on Saturday: On Thursday, admission is free and spectators are expressly welcome. Anyone wishing to see the stallions on the walk ring or the dressage candidates on the lunge in the afternoon must please hand in the proof of attendance form – available for download here – once completed, at the entrance to the hall. Furthermore, face coverings must be worn at all times on the Holstenhalle premises throughout the event. Currently, so-called face shields are no longer recognised as adequate protection in Schleswig-Holstein, which is why access to the premises will not be granted to anyone wearing a face shield.
Due to cancellations resulting from the accommodation ban – which has since been lifted – a limited number of table tickets are still available for last-minute visitors on Friday and Saturday.
