At last they can showcase their top form for Germany: after Annabelle by Conteur-Linaro (Günther Fielmann, Schierensee), line 776, and Helen Langehanenberg travelled to the Olympic Games as reserve riders and, as expected, did not compete, they are now an integral part of the German team at the European Dressage Championships in Hagen.
From 7 to 12 September, Team Germany – which also includes Jessica von Bredow-Werndl (TSF Dalera BB), Isabell Werth (Weihegold OLD) and Dorothee Schneider (Showtime FRH) – will be on a mission to defend their title. “It just feels great,” writes Helen Langehanenberg happily about her European Championship nomination. “Annabelle is already back in competition mode – or rather, she never really went into ‘break mode’ to begin with. She’s far too full of energy for that,” smiles the rider. So there’s just one thing left to do: wish this lovely pair every success!
