In mid-April, family, friends and the Holsteiner Verband had to bid farewell to Harald Mühlich (77). "Harry" Mühlich was the face of the breeding station in Groß Buchwald for 32 years until it was closed in 2014 – at which time Harry Mühlich also retired into a well-deserved retirement. More than 100 stallions stood at the station in the Bordesholm licensing district from 1961 until its closure. Countless stories and a series of anecdotes about the Holsteiner horse and its breeders are associated with the deceased. Now the Holsteiner Verband mourns a long-standing and meritorious employee who enjoyed great popularity among the breeders.
On Wednesday, 19 April 2023, the memorial service will take place at 14:00 in St. John's Church in Seester.
