In May 1999, Silke Stopp began her work in the Kiel office of the Association of Breeders of the Holsteiner Horse. Since then, she has been responsible for member support, among other things, and is a reliable contact person for a broad range of duties at the Holsteiner Verband.

Colleagues, many companions and members of the association warmly congratulated her on this anniversary. Breeding director and managing director Stephan Haarhoff thanked Silke Stopp for her continuous commitment, her visionary and organized way of working as well as her great empathy. Former breeding director Dr Thomas Nissen, who worked with Silke Stopp for 21 years, also found words of praise: "You have always been an extremely reliable and patient help who kept a cool head even under various deadline pressures." Ulrich Steuber and Inken Countess von Platen-Hallermund conveyed their congratulations on behalf of the executive committee of the Holsteiner Verband. Silke Stopp looks back on 25 eventful years at the Holsteiner breeding association and expressed her gratitude for the experiences: "We have grown together here into a family where joy and sorrow are shared equally."
