Theory, pattern work, conformation and free-jumping assessments – at the regional competition, the Holsteiner Young Breeders’ Clubs compete against one another in team and individual events. The event will take place on 20 and 21 April 2024 at Hof Reiherstieg in Henstedt-Ulzburg.
On Saturday 20 April, the theory test, free jumping and conformation assessments will take place. There will be plenty of time for socialising too, as the young breeders from the host club, Segeberg, have organised a games evening and a party. There are plenty of reasons to celebrate, as the Segeberg Young Breeders are also marking their 30th club anniversary this year.
On Sunday, 21 April, the horses will be showcased during the pre-show inspection, before the lucky winners and runners-up of the competition – involving around 100 participants across four age groups – are announced at the subsequent awards ceremony. The competition also serves as a selection event for the squad for the National Young Breeders’ Competition at the Marbach State Stud in June and the World Championships in Denmark (Stutteri Ask) in July.
Spectators are warmly invited to come and watch the state competition!
