Press release from the Völz Stud Farm
We are delighted to share some fantastic news from the USA: our Loveless (Lord Z/Lordship/Corleone) has finished second in the $137,000 3* Grand Prix in Wellington. Under his new name, Lovelight, he impressed under Hilary McNerney: “My horse is incredibly competitive; once we’d completed the first round, I thought, ‘Right, here we go’,” said his rider after the jump-off.
The stallion, bred by Michael Eitel from line 18a2 – whose granddam Carna has brought us many success stories, including Catwalk IV – has always stood out for his exceptional determination.
The right partners are an integral part of every success story, and we would like to take this opportunity to thank the Meyer-Zimmermann family and Thomas Voß once again.
Loveless, who carries the L-blood – so valuable to Holstein – twice via Lord Z and Lordship, is still available to our breeders via TG semen.
