Maas J. Hell Stud Farm – 2nd Free-Jumping Competition and Stallion Talk on 6 ...

Press release from the Maas J. Hell stallion station

For the second time, the Maas J. Hell stallion station invites you to Klein Offenseth on Saturday, 6 December 2025, starting at 14:00, for a free-jumping competition for three- and four-year-old horses. This year, there is an informative "plus", as between the competitions for the two age groups, the Maas J. Hell station invites all interested visitors to a stallion talk in the casino.

Breeding consultant Sebastian Rohde will delve into discussions on horse breeding, marketing and sport with four experienced protagonists: Neel-Heinrich Schoof (breeding director and managing director of the Trakehner Verband), breeders Jochen Ahsbahs and Jens Ritters, and dressage rider and trainer Wieger Derk de Boer have confirmed their participation. Concise, brief and punchy, the discussion will focus on challenges, positions and food for thought for horse breeding from an expert perspective.

At the premiere in December 2024, 20 horses from four German breeding associations and one pony mare immediately stepped up, and were presented prudently and in accordance with their individual level of training in the free-jumping chute by the free-jumping team led by Jan Meves. Meves will also direct the free-jumping on 6 December. The event on 6 December will open at 14:00 with the free-jumping of the three-year-old horses. This will be followed immediately by the stallion talk in the casino as an informative break. The four-year-old horses will provide the sporting conclusion with the free-jumping in the arena. Following the competitions, the Maas J. Hell station invites attendees to a relaxed buffet.

As in 2024, the Maas J. Hell stallion station has acquired valuable honorary prizes for the winning and placed horses and is also providing stud fee vouchers. Registration can now be completed very easily online by contacting Angela Solbau via email: solbau@stallhell.de. A registration form is available on the website www.stallhell.de.
