Following his two first-place finishes in 2015 and 2016, he has once again taken second place in the WBSFH ranking of the world’s top sires in 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020. This confirms his outstanding status as a show jumping sire. A total of 159 offspring contributed to this success in 2020. Leading the field is Union de la Nutria, ridden by the Mexican Alberto SANCHEZ – COZAR and out of a Kannan – Jalisco dam, followed by Christian Ahlmann’s Dominator, whose dam is a Holsteiner daughter of Cassini I. In third place is Villamoura, also out of a Holsteiner Cassini I dam. Three Holsteiners are among the successful offspring: Pikeur Dylon, bred by Gerd Ohlsen; Christel, bred by Ronald Nowee; and Deauville, bred by Peter Sinnak.

The positive cross-breeding effect with Holsteiner genes is also evident in his son Diarado, who was licensed in Holstein in 2007; he comes from a renowned mare line and, thanks to the successes of his offspring, already ranks 10th on the WBSFH Top Sires list

In 2020, three sons of Diamant de Semilly from the 2018 crop were licensed in Germany through the Joachim Tietz Agency:

In Hanover, a stallion out of a Levisto–Pinocchio mare.
Breeder and exhibitor: Sportpferdezucht Clasen, Verden

In Westphalia, a stallion out of a Cornet Obolensky – Ligorett – Fernando mare
. Breeders: Heinr. and Philipp Sterthoff; exhibitors: J. and Ursula Rosendahl

In Holstein, a stallion out of a Caretino–Quinar–Corofino mare
. Breeder: Hans Herm Gempf; exhibitors: Hennings & Hennings and Dieter Mehrens
