The Bachl Stud Farm in Postmünster is once again hosting the BACHL WEEKEND in 2025, which will take place from 22 to 23 March 2025. Following its huge success in 2024, this year’s event once again promises an exciting programme for breeders, equestrians and horse buyers.
The BACHL WEEKEND 2025 is a breeding and equestrian event in a class of its own. It includes both the Free Jumping and Free Running Cup for 3- and 4-year-old horses, a stallion show featuring top sires, and interesting exhibition stands. The guided tour of the stud farm has now become a regular feature of the events in Postmünster, this time including a new breeding stable to expand the insemination centre.
The Free Jumping and Free Running Cup attracts numerous promising young horses, and this year the organisers are again expecting around a hundred 3- and 4-year-olds. This is a special opportunity for anyone looking for outstanding young horses, with the highlight undoubtedly being the final trials.
The line-up for the stallion show includes, alongside the two master stallions Vingino and DSP Cashmoaker, other top sires such as Sanvaro, Vigaro and Adzaro de L’Abbaye B – who already boast internationally successful offspring, including World Cup winners – as well as promising young horses. Of course, the stud farm’s new arrival, EARLY STAR B, by Ermitage Kalone x Quick Star x Capitol I, will also be on show live for the first time. He was already among the top show jumpers at his licensing and emerged as a highly acclaimed premium stallion. His Holstein line 3389 is one of the most successful dam lines in the world.
The BACHL WEEKEND also offers the opportunity for interesting discussions with breeders, and guests’ catering needs will be well catered for. As always, the Bachl Stud will be happy to assist you with breeding advice and any further questions regarding breeding.
The relaxed atmosphere of the event makes the BACHL WEEKEND the perfect meeting place for anyone passionate about horse breeding and equestrian sport. The Free-Running and Free-Jumping Cup is organised in close collaboration with the Rottal-Inn Breeding Cooperative.
