In the Four-Star Classic Tour at the German Show Jumping and Dressage Derby in Hamburg, the association-owned stallion Zuccero by Zirocco Blue-Caretino (Hanno Köhncke, Badendorf), line 4539, and Rolf-Göran Bengtsson (SWE) once again proved their class: the pair remained clear in all their rounds, finished fifth on Thursday and took silver in the 1.50-metre show jumping with jump-off on Saturday.
“He’s been jumping very well all week,” Bengtsson told the Swedish Equestrian Federation. The pair will be competing for Sweden in the Nations Cup in Uggerhalne, Denmark, this coming weekend. “Zuccero always wants to go to the other side of the jump and knock the bars down; he gives me a good feeling,” the rider continued.
