Lucas Wenz took up his post at Holsteiner Verband Hengsthaltungs GmbH in October last year.

Since then, he has also been riding United Way by Uriko-Concerto II (Holsteiner Verband, Elmshorn), line 1916. After a few weeks of getting to know each other and building a bond, their first competitive appearances together followed in December 2023 and January 2024. Starting at M* level, the pair secured their first S* placings in May, followed a few weeks later by their first ribbon in an S** show jumping competition, and most recently they finished fifth in the Hörup Grand Prix – an S*** show jumping competition with a jump-off.
