The six-year-old thoroughbred stallion Innenminister xx has been stabled at Holsteiner Verband Hengsthaltungs GmbH since the start of the year.

Innenminister xx is a Thoroughbred stallion with great potential for a successful career in the breeding of sport horses for eventing or show jumping.
He comes from a line with a proven track record in equestrian sport, including successes in competitive events. This Thoroughbred family has undoubtedly proven itself at the very highest level in eventing. There have also been offspring in show jumping when the stallions were paired with warmblood mares. Innenminister xx comes from Thoroughbred family 14a. On his dam’s side, Innenminister xx carries the ‘Breeder of the Century’ from German bloodlines, Surumu xx, twice. On his sire’s side, he is also superbly bred with Masterstroke xx. The idea behind the mating was to coherently unite the German ‘Century Stallions’ Monsun xx and Lando xx within a single pedigree.
Thoughts on the mating
The line of Innenminister xx consistently passes on its distinctive type, long legs and a compact, strong topline. These are riding horses whose temperament is easy to manage; they are malleable and willing to work, yet possess the necessary fighting spirit and tenacity. For a mating aimed at show jumping, a mare should herself possess caution and ability, as well as the capacity to extend her stride in the canter.
