Zuccero triumphed in Falsterbo, whilst Del Arko and United Way put in impressive performances in Ehlersdorf.
The nine-year-old stallion Zuccero, by Zirocco Blue out of Caretino, impressed at the CSI3* in Falsterbo with a victory in Friday’s 1.40m class. On Saturday, in the 1.45m class, he took second place under Rolf-Göran Bengtsson.
Million Dollar by Plot Blue-Vigo d’Arsouilles competed in three 1.40m classes in Valkenswaard under Frank Schuttert. The pair completed all three classes clear of faults and finished 12th in Sunday’s jump-off.
Massimo Bonomi presented the association’s stallions at the Jörg Naeve equestrian centre in Ehlersdorf. United Way won the Class L show jumping class for young horses with a score of 9.2, whilst Corfu de la Vie finished fifth with a score of 8.1.
Del Arko competed in the Youngster Tour in Ehlersdorf and finished fifth in the M** show jumping on Saturday. In Sunday’s S* show jumping final, Del Arko once again impressed with a clear round and narrowly beat the reigning state champion Chanio, ridden by Sven Gero Hünicke, in a thrilling jump-off.
This week, Corfu and Keaton are expected to compete in Ladelund in the qualifiers for the National Championships, and on Monday, Caracho, United Way and Castle Creek will be in action in Klein Offenseth.
