Last weekend, Arne van Heel, Lucas Wenz and Rolf-Göran Bengtsson competed in Ehlersdorf with a number of association stallions to mark the start of the outdoor season:
Deichkind by Don-Limbus (Rasmus Lüneburg, Hetlingen), line 8763, jumped straight to two top placings under the saddle of Arne van Heel: In the Class A** show jumping class, he finished second (score of 8.5). And he won the Class L show jumping class with a score of 8.8.
In the Class M* Youngsters’ show jumping class, Cahil by Cornet Obolensky-Contender (Manfred von Allwörden, Grönwohld), line 776, also kicked off the outdoor season with a placing: he finished seventh with Lucas Wenz.
Chezarro by Casall-Conteur (Gabriele Kowalski, Stadum), line 1298, also continued his good form with Lucas Wenz, finishing ninth in the M** show jumping.
Rolf-Göran Bengtsson rode Keaton HV by Kannan-Contendro I (Rudolf Schmitt, Wöhrden), line 4847, to eleventh place in the M** show jumping class over 1.30 metres.
In another Youngster M** course, Charaktervoll HV by Comme il faut-Contendro I (Manfred von Allwörden, Grönwohld), line 474A, and Rolf-Göran Bengtsson were rewarded with fourth place for their clear round.
Crack HV by Cornet Obolensky-Candillo (Campos Cria de Caballos de Deporte), line 1020, and Arne van Heel finished seventh in the S* show jumping. Here, Keaton HV and Rolf-Göran Bengtsson finished in 13th place.
Vigado by Vigo d’Arsouilles-Quo Vados I (Witt Pferdezucht GbR, Wellinghusen), line 776, and Lucas Wenz continued their season just as successfully as they had started it indoors with victories in the Youngster Tour: In the Youngster S* class, they remained clear of faults once again and secured fourth place. Rolf-Göran Bengtsson and Charaktervoll HV finished eighth here. Furthermore, Cahil, ridden by Lucas Wenz, secured 16th place in his first S* course.
