Vigado by Vigo d’Arsouilles-Quo Vados I (Witt Pferdezucht GbR, Wellinghusen), line 776, produced two flawless rounds in the Youngster Tour qualifiers in Hagen under Lucas Wenz and finished third on Thursday. In Friday’s final, the pair completed the course with one knockdown.
In two international show jumping competitions, Cahil by Cornet Obolensky-Contender (Manfred von Allwörden, Grönwohld), line 776, placed under Lucas Wenz. On Wednesday, he finished ninth in a two-phase show jumping class (1.35m) and on Thursday he placed 18th in the 1.40-metre show jumping class.
United Way by Uriko-Concerto II (Holsteiner Verband, Elmshorn), line 1916, completed the course without any faults over the obstacles in Thursday’s 1.40-metre show jumping class, incurring one penalty for exceeding the time limit, and on Friday finished 20th under Lucas Wenz with a clear round in the international 1.45-metre show jumping class.
Arne van Heel presented Crack HV by Cornet Obolensky-Candillo (Campos Cria de Caballos de Deporte), line 1020, in the Grand Tour. In the second qualifier (1.50m), the pair finished in eleventh place with a time fault. In the Grand Prix (1.55m), Crack HV performed superbly under Arne van Heel, completing the course with a slight knockdown at the first fence of the triple combination and a time penalty.
