Christian Hess celebrated a well-deserved training success in Wiener Neustadt: riding Untouched (Doris Schimmer, Weddingstedt) – a nine-year-old daughter of Uriko out of a Cartani dam – he won two 1.45-metre classes. One of these was the championship of the two-star competition. “I’m more than proud,” wrote Christian Hess on his Instagram page after he and the bay mare recorded the only clear round of the class. He had carefully introduced the Uriko daughter from line 4025 to more challenging tasks and has already celebrated several successes with her this season. For example, they secured top placings up to 1.50 metres in Herzlake, Pinneberg and Kronenberg.
